Mexico: Shooting from the hip

As a challenge to myself and just to satisfy a general interest in more genuine and candid human photography, while in Mexico i developed a technique for shooting subjects from hip level. The result was a interesting series of photos that caught people in their everyday life. Going to and from work and school, laughing, talking, flirting, staring off into thin air and enjoying life.

Felice Brothers @ The Independent

I've seen these guys several times now and they never cease to thoroughly impress me. My girlfriend Anna is writing for the SF Weekly and hooked up a deal for her to review and myself to photograph any show in SF. So this is the first of many to come. Very Cool. Check it out at SF weekly.
